Our name, SHOR Bazaar, pays homage to the world-famous CHOR Bazaar, one of the busiest and oldest marketplaces in South Bombay, known for its energy, history, and sense of discovery.

SHOR Bazaar is a love letter to the vibrant street markets of South Asia.
For millennia, marketplaces have served as hubs for people and tradition to intersect—passing art, stories, and flavors from one generation to the next. Inspired by this, we’ve reimagined the aromas, colors, and dynamic energy of these markets, creating the refined dining destination that is SHOR.
Transporting your senses from LA into a world of Desi culture, we aim to pay tribute to SHOR’s very essence. Every detail—floor to ceiling—was thoughtfully curated with authentic textiles and finishes from our staff’s home countries, and each dish reflects the rich history of spices and traditional meals cherished in our culture.

Crafted by four-time Michelin-recognized chef, Imran ‘Ali’ Mookhi, every dish on our menu was conceptualized with quality, creativity, and inclusivity in mind.
Drawing from age-old traditions and inspired by the cuisines of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India, our menu reimagines traditional street food flavors and presentations. With an emphasis on highlighting bold flavors in authentic Afghani meat-based dishes and rich curries, we celebrate the cuisine our family grew up with.

A discovery on our team’s travels to Dubai, we witnessed water served at an eye-catching level of luxury. Inspired by the vast options of waters from around the world, we wanted to share this unique and opulent experience with guests while bringing awareness to sustainable companies committed to preserving the environments and cultures from which the water originates.
From Berg Water, sourced from icebergs that would otherwise melt and contribute to rising sea levels, to ROI, which provides magnesium-rich water from a basin that has ties Greek mythology, our selections celebrate both the origins and future of Earth’s most valuable element.
